Meet Dr. Hammad Khan

Hammad Khan, D.D.S., M.S.
Diplomate American Board of Endodontics
Dr. Khan was born in Melrose Park, IL and raised in the Chicagoland area. He attended the University of Illinios at Chicago’s College of Dentistry and graduated in 2003. He practiced General Dentistry for 8 years. He developed a strong inclination towards root canal therapy because it is a procedure which many times takes people out of acute pain and allows for the saving of one’s natural tooth.
Having benefitted from root canal therapy himself after an injury from a biking accident, he has an even deeper appreciation for the specialty. Dr. Khan entered UIC’s post graduate Endodontics Residency and graduated with his certificate of Endodontics from the specialty training in 2013 along with his Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences.
Dr. Khan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He earned his Board Certification in 2018 after extensive written and oral examinations and submitting a portfolio depicting complex cases he performed successfully. Less than one third of endodontists have earned board certification. He has successfully treated thousands upon thousands of root canal therapies over the course of nearly 20 years. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Khan lives in Bolingbrook with his wife and children, serving the community in which he resides. He loves spending time outdoors with his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoys fly-fishing, skiing, surfing, hiking mountain trails and other activities not readily available to do in Illinois….Hence, he enjoys traveling.
